Sous Chef 

With our imminent relocation to a new site in Hurstpierpoint, where will be operating as a full service restaurant, we are looking for an experienced chef to join our friendly team. You will be supporting and deputising for our head chef with the running of the kitchen. We make almost everything from scratch, including of course our pizza dough. We predominantly use British produce, with many of our ingredients being sourced locally. 

We are an established award-winning business located on Hurstpierpoint high street and are proud to have an excellent reputation with an overall 4.9 rating on Google & Facebook and 5 star on Trip Advisor. Last year we were crowned the UK's Best Independent Pizza Delivery Store in the UK and this year we were voted as one of the Top 10 Restaurants in Sussex. 

We also have a dedicated kiosk at the Amex Stadium in Brighton, where we serve our Detroit style pizza concept by the slice. In addition, we supply our original stone baked pizzas into the corporate lounges at the Amex.

We have plans to continue to grow the business and so there will be opportunity for development. 

You will need to have proven experience in a professional kitchen, strong leadership skills and a love of good food. Pizza making is preferred but not essential.

Up to 40 hours per week.

Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience + tips. 

Pizza Chef

We are looking for a new pizza chef to join our friendly team! You will be involved in all aspects of the pizza making process, from preparing the dough to cooking and serving the pizzas.

Kitchen and pizza making experience preferred but not essential as training can be provided. A passion for good food and cooking is however a must, as is a proactive attitude and a strong work ethic. 

Between 20 and 30 hours a week, mainly evenings but some daytime shifts will be available too.

Competitive rates of pay according to experience.
